Wrinkles, especially on the face, are one of the most common and, unfortunately, unavoidable signs of aging.

However, even though wrinkles can’t be completely prevented or treated, there are tons of ways to reduce facial wrinkling and make your skin look young and fresh. In this article I’m going to explain to you how to effectively fight off wrinkles with anti wrinkle creams.

Types of wrinkle creams

There are several types of creams from wrinkles. Some are only available with a prescription, although most creams can be bought without a prior visit to a doctor. Sometimes prescription creams can have slightly stronger active agents in them, though that isn’t always the case.

The most commonly found ingredients are:
  • Vitamin A compounds such as Retinol. This antioxidant is used to eliminate free radicals from our bodies. Free radicals damage the skin by destroying healthy skin cells.

  • Hydroxy acids. These compounds allow your skin to rejuvenate faster by getting rid of old skin layers and replacing them with new ones.

  • Copper is often used to help the skin heal and fix itself faster. Normally, traces of copper are mixed with protein peptides to form copper peptides.

  • Green tea extracts. Tea extracts are loaded with antioxidants and possess strong anti-inflammatory properties.
