Do organic self-tanners work as well as the others? 

We asked James Read, Britain’s leading self-tanning guru, to try Organic’s new Heavenly Bronzing range, which includes a bronzing mist, mousse and tan enhancer.

It has been formulated with certified organic ingredients. He gives the range the thumbs-up, and particularly likes the tan enhancer, but thought it worked more like a gradual tanner than an enhancer.


‘I found this cream thick, easy to apply, non-sticky and the coconut scent reminded me of holidays,’ he says. ‘The colour is OK, but perhaps too dark for people with really light skin tones. It is also great to top-up your tan after three days — perfect for keeping the holiday glow going.’
